Dr. Porcari is passionate about her work and enjoys working with children, adolescents and young people from the age of 5 to the age of 18 years, presenting with all kinds of psychiatric illnesses, including depression, anxiety disorders , post traumatic stress disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, autistic spectrum disorder*.
Dr. Porcari closely work with psychologists and psychotherapists as necessary, to provide a comprehensive service to her private patients.

Dr. Porcari's mission is to provide personalised, confidential and high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis.
Dr Porcari qualified in Medicine in Italy in 2000. She went on to specialise in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry which she completed in 2005. She did a year of research fellowship in the psychological effects of trauma at the Trauma Centre, part of Boston University, together with the team of Prof. Bessel van der Kolk and then took a permanent NHS Consultant post in South Essex where she has been working since early 2006.
Between 2008 and 2015 Dr. Porcari was the Clinical Director for the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services across South Essex, Luton and Bedfordshire alongside practising as a CAMHS Consultant in Basildon, Essex.
All together Dr. Porcari has more than 15 years work experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, winning 4 points of NHS Clinical Excellence Awards throughout her career as an NHS Consultant.
Dr. Porcari has also been an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Health and Social Care at Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford and Visiting Professor in Psychiatry for Pavia University, Italy.
